The Dizstorder

Alex, the driving force behind The Dizstorder, is a Nashville-based multi-genre musician who seamlessly blends rock n’ roll, country, pop, reggae, and rap into a sound that’s entirely his own. Currently working on nearly 40 tracks with many of them split between two upcoming albums—*Shakespeare is Dead* and *Gone Country*—Alex is preparing to unleash a diverse catalog that showcases his guitar prowess and genre-defying songwriting abilities.

Alex’s musical awakening began in high school through the guitar-driven power of Led Zeppelin and Guns N’ Roses, but it wasn’t until he picked up his first guitar at 18 in the dorm halls of Virginia Tech in 2008 that his destiny truly took shape. With the dedication of a true believer, he immediately invested nearly everything he had into a Gibson Studio Les Paul and 50W Marshall Vintage Modern amp with Orange cab—a decision that would define his sound for years to come. Learning initially by ear and later through extensive lessons, Alex became obsessed with the improvisational mastery of his heroes Jimmy Page and Slash, studying how they created new magic every night on stage.

What sets Alex apart from the crowded music landscape is his ability to play guitar at wizard level, crafting intricate lead melodies and spontaneous improvisations across multiple styles. Armed with an arsenal that includes his prized Les Paul Standard Gibson (acquired in 2021), an American Stratocaster Fender, and an extensive effects setup featuring wah, slide, tremolo, chorus, delay, and his signature Ibanez Tube Screamer distortion pedal, Alex transforms every performance into a masterclass in guitar artistry. His songwriting, which began in earnest in 2020, tackles everything from poetic justice themes in reggae, rock, and rap on *Shakespeare is Dead* to country and southern rock explorations on *Gone Country*. With around 10 early demos already available on SoundCloud and preview clips of 26 songs shared with growing audiences, Alex has proven his ability to create compelling music across vastly different genres.
